Regular contractions: Contractions/pains that come every 5-10 minutes are definitely a good reason to visit the emergency room of your maternity hospital asap. Other indications that labor is starting would be vaginal bleeding, decreased fetal movements, temperature >100f, leaking fluid per vaginam and lower abdominal or lower back pain.
