Circulation: Ventricular fibrillation is totally disorganized and does not effectively pump blood. Untreated, this will be fatal. Ventricular tachycardia is organized, and depending on the rate, and the part of the heart it originates from, may be able to generate an effective blood pressure, at least for awhile. Serious, but not always fatal.
