Safe if monitored: Testosterone is like any other drug in that it's safe if monitored closely but unsafe if not. Lab studies have demonstrated t's ability to act as a vasodilator, similar to nitroglycerin. However, in excess, t can also increase blood pressure, cause polycythemia ; lower hdl, all of which can increase risk of thrombotic events like stroke ; heart attack. So use it if you need it but w/supervision.
