TPO antibodies: Is a lab test and an indicator, not a disease. Lab tests don't hurt you. You can't do anything about it, and it may remain elevated the rest of your life, but don't worry. Just make sure your thyroid level is kept normal with replacement.

TPO antibody: The high tpo indicates that your thyroid is under attack via an auto immune mechanism, and is disrupting the output of thyroid hormone from the thyroid. This is a common cause of hypothyroidism (called hashimotos thyroiditis). The main treatment is to orally replace the missing amount of thyroid each day with thronorm or similar. Tpo is an indication of the cause of your thyroid hormone deficit.
