Hypertension : High blood pressure is usually not associated with symptoms. You can start by checking his blood pressure. Depending on reading, he may or may not need medical attention. Overall, would be best to avoid excessive intake of salty food.

Feeling how?: How does high blood pressure feel? Do you mean feeling angry, hot, sweaty, headache, can't breath, chest pain, feeling your heart beating, or what? Drink water for sure but if he's really not feeling right, i'd call your doctor or perhaps a nurse hotline through your insurance company.

Define symptoms: High blood pressure is the "silent killer" because it lacks any definite symptoms. Some people can sense a head fullness or ache when BP climbs rapidly, but that is not highly reliable finding. He may be having food allergy symptoms (to preservative) or other GI symptoms, especially in 20s, unless bad family history of high bp. He should check ; write down his BP regularly ; discuss w/his dr.
