Not flu maybe.: Sounds like strep throat. Get checked and treated, you need antibiotics to prevent the risk of developing rheumatic heart disease from untreated strep throat. Check the meds you are taking, see if they say to not take if you have high blood pressure. Many of these (which don't help) raise the blood pressure a lot! See http://tinyurl.com/osmaxzo
