Moderation: anything that you overdue is not a good idea. Soda is acidic, and non-diet soda is high in sugar. occasional soda drinking is ok, but too much "acidic" liquid, together with sugar-sweetened , can weaken the teeth and cause a higher rate of cavities.

Yes: It's liquid sugar, and very acidic. Feeds the bacteria that cause cavities. If you only have an occasional soda you should be OK. But excessive amounts of acidic beverages (soda, tea, iced tea, coffee, iced coffee, fruit juices, power-aids, all create an environment favorable to cavity-producing bacteria. Have your teeth checked by your Dentist and discuss beverage choices.
