Otc nsaids: Are your best choice if you don't have reasons to not take them. Ibuprofen or Naproxen are available otc and are really good at pain relief and inflammation. Take with food and see your dr in the am. If u have a middle ear infection, antibiotics are helpful. If you have "swimmer's ear" or otitis externa (which can be very painful) then antibiotic/steroid drops are helpful.
