Normal: I assume you had arthroscopic knee surgery;muscle spasms after knee arthroscopic surgery are both normal and not uncommon.From the surgery itself, the use of a "leg holder" or tourniquet(if used)--muscle spasms will occur.If they continue or become more severe or long -lasting, check w/ your surgeon.Good luck!
