Not related: Hemorrhoids are enlarged veins that exist under the lining of the rectum and anus. These are generally fleshy and soft but cause discomfort when engorged and pain if there is acute thrombosis or clotting of the vein. If there is a "white bump", it is unrelated to the hemorrhoid. Sometimes bumps appears in the anal area due to infected glands, to skin infection, or other skin pathology.
