A member asked:

Travelled to america and left my carbimazole tablets back home, i heard methimazole is similar to carbimazole, should i take it in the meantime?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The two drugs: Are similar and the doses are relatively equal. Check with a local doctor as some sort of therapy is indicated if you're going to be in america for a period of more than 1-2 days.
