#1 is pregnancy!: But also pcos, stress, ovulatory dysfunction, infection, scarring, medications, metabolic dysfunction (like thyroid or prolactin), adrenal dysfunction, medications including birth control pills, menopause, etc. There are a ga-zillion things that can cause periods to stop.
