Tell you doctor.: See you are from great britain. Co-codamol contains 8mg of Codeine phosphate ; 500mg of paracetamol. Some possible side effects for Codeine can include shakiness, being unable to sleep ; withdrawal sxs can include anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, fear or agitation.

Co-codemol: In the US we would call that Tylenol with Codeine, two pain killers. Although I don't see nightmares/panic attacks as a common side effect, a fair number of people are allergic to codeine. Pain killers do not treat the cause of a wisdom tooth problem, only symptoms. Please discuss your question with your prescribing doctor, and make arrangements for examination by a specialist Oral Surgeon.
