A member asked:

Why do i have a lump on my neck under the skin, the size of a nickel?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Skin lump: A lump under the skin is an abnormal growth, that can be either seriius or routine. If it is soft, and not growing, it is likely a cyst or fatty tumor, a lipoma. If it is hard and feels bound down, it could be a malignant lymph node or another form of cancer .If you are worried, and can afford it, go to your family doctor for a checkup, and hopefully, it is something not serioius.
