I'm 37 and getting hot flashes everytime i try to conceive but not pregnant yet. thyroid-ok my doc says its stress and i need lexapro (escitalopram). possible?

Stress might be a : Factor. Ways to fix stress. Talk about feelings ; address problems. Aim for 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep/ night. Daily physical activity is optimal in a green space. Eat healthfully. Cut out junk carbs, caffeine ; alcohol (or moderate). Try qi gong, tai chi, acupuncture, acupressure, homeopathy, meditation, yoga, exercise program, deep breathing exercises or progressive muscle relaxation.

Lots of issues: If your doctor thinks that you needed antidepressant and i think this is something you should take seriously. Your doctor would know you better than we do. At 37 if you're having trouble getting pregnant you ought to see a specialist soon. If you're having hot flashes you ought to be evaluated for early menopause.
