Belly bloat is ok: Following breast surgery there is a tremendous amount of swelling around the breasts. And where does it go? South! gravity causes the flow of edema fluid down into the tissues of the abdominal wall. This also occurs to a lesser extent with breast augmentation. Walking and gentle movements of the arms will help decrease the buildup of swelling and minimize this "bloating". Should be better soon!

Varies: You have several things happening. The narcotics tend to slow the movement of your bowels and can cause some bloating. The second factor is water retention after a major procedure which can take over a week to resolve. Usually it is better to keep up your fluid intake and let the body repair itself (about a week).
