A member asked:

Severe abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, elevated white blood count. clean ct, urine, ultrasound and sonogram. no root cause...what can it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends/see Dr.: It depends on the kind of discomfort and where it is but it's a good idea to see your doctor to rule out a possible serious cause like appendicitis as this can present with abdominal pain and high white cell count, chiefly neutrophils and fever. If you had a procedure or pelvic exam (and you did have an ultrasound), there could be some subsequent discomfort but this is rare so see your dr..
