Yes, go to the ER.: 23 year old with a past history of appendectomy and adhesions who presents with a 3 day history of severe right lower quadrant pain, will need a clinical and radiological evaluation to rule out bowel obstruction and might need bowel decompression with intravenous fluids and medications.
