I don't think...: The flatulence has anything to do with your foot. It sounds like you may have a pinched nerve in your lumbar spine or possibly a herniated disk. This could certainly cause significant calf and foot pain. When you apply pressure via your bowels with straining, voiding, defecating, passing gas or even sneezing it can exacerbate the leg syptoms as the disk increases its pressure on the nerves.
