A muscle twitch: This is most likely a suuperficial muscle on your head that was twitching or in spasm. It can feel like it is inside your skull or your brain itself because of the way your nerves run. It is very normal and likely due to stress of some sort. You cannot actually feel your brain at all and you would have much different symptoms if there were in fact a problem with your brain.

Muscle spasm: You had a momentary spasm of your temporalis muscle, which lies on the sides of the skull. It was not your brain having a spasm.
