Different formulas: Males: ibw = 50 kg + 2.3 kg for each inch over 5 feet. Thus for you: 50 kg + (2.3 kg x 12 ") = 50 + 27.6 = 77.6 kg (x 2.2 lb/kg) = 170.72 lb. Other formulas will give slightly different results. Try to add muscle instead of fat to maintain a healthy body. If you're overweight, exercise to tone muscle & lose fat.
