A member asked:

I've just turned 16 and i've been bow-legged since i was a child. can braces straighten out my condition or would i need surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bow legged: If they don't cause any pain, i would not worry about them. You should see an orthopedic doctor if you have pain. These surgeries have their own risks and if it is only for looks, don't bother. Your true love will love you irrespective of bow legs or not!
