Testicles: One testicle is always dominant and is always bigger than the other testicle. The texture of a testicle should be firm and smooth.

Please have your: Enlarged, hard testicle evaluated by a urologist asap. This is an excellent article from mayo clinic: http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/testicular-cancer/ds00046/dsection=symptoms.

Do ultrasound scan: An enlarged testicle that feels hard may have a tumor growing inside it. A primary care doctor or a urologist can evaluate and order the ultrasound scan, which can easily show if there is a tumor inside. This is one of those times one should not wait to see if the problem goes away on its own.
