Travatan is: A good first line drug for most open angle glaucoma cases. The class of drug is also available in generic form. You mention though if this is appropriate for a glaucoma suspect. Typically suspects are monitored and only treated if they have the diagnosis of glaucoma proper. There are caveats of course since there are different types of glaucoma as well as a condition named ocular hypertension.
