Moisturisers/keratol: Treatment of this common genetic condition is by use of moisturisers and keratolytic agents.Amlactin is a Lactic Acid moisturiser and may work if used as directed.Other choices are urea, salicylic acid, vit d, glycolic acid and retinoids.Treatment is somewhat limited and is long term and continuous.Research for more effective treatment is ongoing. However it is not seroius and may fade with age.
