Buttock pain: Two things come to mind immediately. It's possible that you have developed sacroiliac dysfunction which would result in pain going down the back of the leg and around the front into the groin. The other possibility would be pyriformis syndrome which is a banding muscle located beneath the glutes. You may need to be seen by physiatrist, pain specialist, or an orthopedist.
