Stubbed Toe: You need to see your pcp or podiatrist for a physical exam and xrays to evaluate for a possible nail avulsion injury and/or phalanx fracture. In the interim, keep it clean and protected. A barrier dressing and splint will help until you can be seen. Also, remember to rest and ice and elevate !
