Work in progress...: It is indeed frustrating for lay public and even for people with medical background when they cannot decipher all the ingredients because they are not listed by their common names. Fda simplified formats have been in the works for both foods and drugs. Similar issues occur when traveling outside of us, so continue asking and reading labels if you have severe food allergies.
