Why doesn't body use sugar and insulin right in dm type 2?

Insulin resistance: Patients with type 2 diabetes make lots of insulin, but their bodies are resistant to it. Therefore blood sugar goes up because the vehicle (insulin) to get sugar into the cells of the body doesn't work properly.

Get very sleepy after big meals. Awake with numb limbs if eat too much at night. Dr says not neuropathy nor DM yet body tingles after too much sugar.
