A member asked:

How common is it for two siblings to have juvenile idiopathic arthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

JIA in siblings: It is very rare for more than one sibling in a family to have jia. There is a national registry of families with more than one sibling with jia kept at cincinnati children's hospital. Of the 300, 000 children in the u.S with arthritis, there are approximately 300 children who share arthritis with a sibling.
