More to dysautonomia: "my doctor and i were never able to determine the exact cause of the bloating, but we assumed it was delayed emptying of my stomach along with blood pooling. I did loose a lot of weight at first, but now i'm a healthy weight by watching what i eat, how much, and how often. " quote from a pots patient forums.Dinet.Org/index.Php?/topic/5001-weight. Please see a gastroenterologist along with the cardiologist and a specialist neurologist whose specialty is dysautonomia. Best wishes.

POTS syndrome: Pots (postural orthostatic tachycardia) is a rare syndrome of autonomic system dysfunction. Over 70% of pots patients have bloating, constipation, abdominal pain, or nausea/vomiting. There isn't a known cure, but your doctor may be able to give you treatment for your symptoms. Ask about high calorie liquid supplements (for example, ensure) that may help you gain weight.
