Silent heart attack: If i saw the classic q-waves or some other diagnostic finding on my electrocardiogram, i'd conclude i had indeed had a heart attack even i hadn't felt it. Not all of these hurt or even get noticed.

It happens: When we look at ekgs we find the signs of heart attack in some people. About 7% or normal population can have asymptomatic heart attacks and unfortunately up to 1/3 in those with dm until the complication occurs. This is by ekg diagnosis. I have to accept I have not seen this correlated well with echo, thallium or even angiogram.
