Cheek biting: The soft tissue of the cheek can encroach on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. This can be caused by sucking the cheek in, cheeks getting bigger (weight gain), dry mouth (cheeks sticking to the teeth, or changes in dental tooth orientation (new crowns or dentures.
