Variety of things: The uvula may be enlarged from inflammation, infection, or it may be congenital. If the symptoms of snoring or sleep disorder are present, you may want to get a sleep study to make sure that your oxygen saturation at time of sleep is within normal limits. If you are totally asymptomatic, do nothing.
