No: Night guards should not cause symptoms of a sore throat. Make sure that you are keeping the guard clean. See the provider who fabricated the guard for you for an examination. Among other possible causes, you may be allergic to some ingredient in the guard.

Make sure: Make sure you clean your guard on a regular basis, sore throat can't simply be caused by a guard, but bacteria, viral or any type of infection can...Check with your dentist or ent.

Sore Throat: Not norma. May be the night guars is too tight, to much pressure causes soreness. See your dentist for some adjusments.
