Maybe: There are many, many causes of sudden severe headaches from simple dehyrdation or lack of adequate food intake to life threatening vascular events (brain bleeds). Migraines are a specific type of headaches which have a specific pattern and diagnostic criteria. If headaches persist they require speciatly consultation evaluation.
