Need evaluation: If your postoperative vision is decreasing despite attempts to correct it, you need an examination of your eye. A careful refraction is important. An exam of the iol, cornea and anterior chamber for inflammation assessment, and a dilated retinal examination is also extremely important. Sometimes anti inflammatory eye drops for edema in the macula occurs after cataract surgery and can be reversed.
