A member asked:

My test in mumps come out positive, what now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Immune to mumps: The most common test done for mumps is an antibody level. If you have had the mumps or the mumps vaccine, then your test will be positive for antibodies. That means you are immune from getting the disease. If you have no antibodies, the test is negative, you are susceptible to getting mumps, and so should get the vaccine.
