There are none: There are no "sure" signs. Some women with gestation diabetes (diabetes in pregnancy only) gain extra weight or their babies grow faster. The routine signs of increased urination, thirst and increased appetite are common in pregnancy and aren't sure signs of anything. The only way to diagnose is with a glucose tolerance test. We usually do this routinely at 28 weeks but may do it earlier.
