A member asked:

Mupirocin ointment 2 for toddler vaginal infection, is this okay?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mupirocin: Mupirocin is typically used for bacterial skin infections, specifically impetigo. If the vaginal infection is impetigo, Mupirocin would be appropriate. But if there is no impetigo, (ie: the infection is fungal), Mupirocin will not help.
