Possible, not likely: The 'bumps'' on the back top of your tongue are circumvalate papillae-type of taste bud. On the sides are lingual tonsils. White bumps on/in the tonsils are generally sialoliths, or tonsil stones. They usually pass without notice, but can frequently create inflammation, mild pain and serious bad breath. See your dentist to be sure that it's not abnormality--especialy if high risk behaviors exist.
