Varies: For most people three days after being treated with a single dose of Flagyl (2 grams PO once) they would be cured. If you allow 5 days then the there would be very little chance of persistent disease.

Trichomoniasis: Trichomoniasis can be cured with a single dose of either Metronidazole or tinidazole orally. Pregnant women can take this. Do not drink alcohol within 24 hours after taking these drugs since they can produce uncomfortable side effects.
