A member asked:

How long does hiv remains on a surface?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HIV: This virus does not tolerate drying, heat, cold, or any noxious substances very well and dies quickly. If the surface has moist cell containing fluids on it they may survive until complete drying and death of the cells takes place. It is very rare that HIV is transmitted through inanimate objects, unless they are contaminated with moist body fluids containing the virus.
