How is numbness in the right leg related to having your period?

Not directly: A possible explanation is that during menstruation inflammation is a common occurrence. If this inflammation occurs in facet joints in low back or sacro iliac joint on right side and the nerves passing close by may also become irritated, they could cause numbness usually along with radiating sciatic pain.
