How can i keep my teeth from getting thinner?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Please clarify: Are you talking about the enamel being thin, or the tooth structure itself being thin on the edges? If you are wearing down the tooth structure from grinding, you should have your bite assessed. If you are talking about enamel thinning, avoid acidic foods, rinse after eating them and avoid brushing for 30 minutes after eating them. Also don't use abrasive toothpastes or hard toothbrushes.
