Simplify regimen: Ideally you should take only one analgesic at a time. Percocet is a combination of oxycodone and tylenol (acetaminophen). Advil is ibuprofen, a different medication.Try to use as little Percocet as possible and only if you really need it for severe pain to avoid dependence and tolerance. If the pain is milder and you do not suffer from ulcers, kidney disease or are in anticoagulants, it is ok to use advil instead.
