Mono???: Glandular fever is an old name for infectious mononucleosis. You say you're 49 years old and you have mono? That's fairly unusual, as it's usually a disease of children and adolescents. But if you have arm and shoulder pain, you can take anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen.
