Several roads: Yes, zoloft, (sertraline) an ssri may causeyour problem. Check with your physician to see if you can use bupropion [wellbutrin]. If this change does not correct the issue then you ask for a referral to a sexual dysfunction group. . My bias would be for you to call loyola medical center, in chicago and ask for dr renshaw's clinic. See if they have someone in your area who has trained with her.

Zoloft (sertraline) and tramadol: Concurrent use of tramadol and Zoloft (sertraline) has two implications 1. There is increased risk for serotonin syndrome- severe and much less common side effect from excess serotonin. A medical emergency, it is rare. 2. The tramadol is less effective as a pain medication with concurrent use with SSRI

Resveratrol: Some studies show benefits of one glass of wine (especially red wine) a day, for women.  This does not mean you should start drinking it if you have not been.  There are good phytonutrients such as resveratrol in red grape skins, which are incorporated in red wine.  Without exposing yourself to alcohol, you could get the same from grapes, etc, or a good resveratrol supplement.

Yes but:: Medscape's drug interaction database says no interaction between Unisom and your meds, but it does show an interaction between Zoloft (sertraline) and Adderall. Zoloft (sertraline) can cause Adderall levels to go to high.&gt;This could be a cause for insomnia. Speak with your physician.

i am breastfeeding a 5 month old. i also take 50 mg of zoloft. i am having back and neck spasms. am i able to take 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine?

Yes: First  try motrin 600mg every 6 hours in addition to stretching of back and neck, ice pads, and massage and potentially attempting to change nursing positions.  Also make sure to stay well hydrated and eat foods rich in potassium and magnesium (examples:  bananas, potatoes) to prevent muscle spasms.  If these things don't work try cyclobenzaprine but know it can cause drowsiness

is there a decongestant for nose & cough that i can give my 11 year old son?  his weight is 105 pounds and he takes 50mg of zoloft & 2mg of abilify (aripiprazole).

Colds: You can trial any OTC tussin DM product you like to see if they will help his symptoms - it is really variable on how much they help. You can also use warm fluids with honey to help soothe his cough. Cough is a protective function so suppressing it aggressively is counter-productive. Saline nasal spray to aid in thinning the secretions in his nose and sinuses is also worth trying.

Don't know: Can get some dryness of the mouth from zoloft (sertraline) which might account for thirst but not for urine as you describe-- probably best to have a checkup-- possibly a urine for culture & sensitivity.

No: If you are breast feeding your baby, your missed periods are likely due to breastfeeding.  Also if you are taking a continous birth control pill such as the mini pill or micronor (norethindrone).
