Possible: Although not that common, seroquel/quetiapine can cause a rash and, in very rare cases, a severe rash called stevens-johnson that is an emergency.  Regardless, let your provider know if you did develop a rash while taking seroquel/quetiapine.

Yes!!  : Yes it is well known that some people  have an atopic constitution (sometimes with past history of atopic phenomena like asthma, eczema, hay fever etc) these people are more likely to react to certain medications.

is this still in my blood i inhaled very toxic vapors that caused me to pass out stopped my air intake and caused skin rash and more side effects these were heavy petroleum tank type vapors that a fireman said son you just got poisoned and i see your skin

Hello. : Hello. This is worrisome. Toxic vapors enter through our lungs and move from there into our blood stream. Depending on the chemicals, they often can effect the membranes of your eyes, nose and throat. The fact that you lost consciousness is significant. I hope that you accepted ambulance transport to the hospital to be evaluated. I can not tell you if the toxins are still in your blood stream. The problem is that even, if they aren't there can be damage to particular areas of your body. Please get checked out.

RememberTheDoormouse: All these kinds of drugs can have weird side effects: when starting them and when stopping them. Either way they'll eventually  go away. If you really feel fogged-out you can take a lesser dose (or half a pill) for several days and get to your maintenance dose more slowly. You need to talk this over with the doctor that prescribes it. And make sure you really need this kind of medication.

i've had an allergic reaction (skin rash) to a dose increase of sertraline.  the rash is on my face, neck, chest, back and arms.  i took a full 25 mg dose 1x and woke up with a slight rash on my face.  took a 2nd 25 mg dose and the rash is now everywhere

Zoloft (sertraline) allergy?: In cases of allergy it's probably better to stop the medicine than continue to itch.  Also you've been on a very low dose for relatively  short time.  You'll probably be fine -- and may stop scratching too.  There are other medications that may help the problem that resulted in the zoloft prescription. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can help the itching, in meantime. Work with your doctor, and get well.

Rash: Reactions to ssri withdrawal can occur, especially if done too rapidly. I've known of itching or hive-like reactions but not rash. Did you have a rash when you started it?
