Angular stomatitis?: This may require prolonged treatment and even a biopsy. This could benefit from a 3 week course of tetracycline if considered o be angular stomatitis. However I have also seen other diseases such as lupus cause similar lesions. You are best to remain under the care of a dermatologist to assess your response to various treatment regimens.

Perioral dermatitis: Sounds like perioral dermatitis which is acne bumps mostly around the mouth but can also extend to cheeks, neck and chest. The treatment for it is oral antibiotics and topical either Clindamycin or metronidazole. It is a benign condition. See your local dermatologist.

No: No, a cold sore is caused by a virus. You probably had the virus and were picking at the spot because as the virus starts to erupt, it causes swelling and tingling at the site. It takes a few days for the scab to form. Eventually it will heal and will be back to normal. There are meds that will shorten the duration of a cold sore. But they work only if taken early. See your doctor asap.

Patients require systemic and/or topical treatment, an evaluation of the underlying factors, and reassurance.

It is also a location where there are sebaceous glands and a pimple can form.  Fever blisters are usually a cluster of small clear bumps; a pimple is usually single in this area.
